The grammar of Warlpiri, an Aboriginal language of central Australia, exhibits a number of properties which have come to be associated with the typological label "non-configurational", including, among others, (i) free word order, (ii) the use of syntactically discontinuous expressions, and (iii) extensive use of null anaphora.
