In the traditional grammar of the classical languages the nominative and the accusative neuter are regarded as distinct morphemes, whereas it is not usual to speak of a 1st person dual active of a Greek verb, but rather to say that the plural is used where the dual of other persons would be normal; i.e. there is syncretism in the former case but neutralisation in the latter.
