Creative facets would, for instance, be concerned with (a) the reduction to writing of hitherto unwritten languages through the creation of alphabets; (b) the standardization of the alphabets and/or orthographies of a language for which two or more parallel alphabets and/or orthographies have been in use, through the creation and introduction of a new standard alphabet and/or orthography; (c) the artificial enlargement and expansion of the lexicon of a language, e.g., through means as mentioned above under (c); (d) the artificial introduction of grammatical rules into the standard target form of a language.
