Voegelin reported a tecnique of vocalic reduplication accompanied by consonantic changes, contractions, syncopes and changes in vowel lenght. For these changes two or three highly productive treatmets could be pointed out ("regular principles"), but there remained many less productive treatments ("irregularities").
