“Abhinihita”, “Prāśliṣṭa”, and both “Jātya” and “Kṣipra”, as well as “Tairovyañjana” and “Pādavṛtta”, - this is the group of “svarita” [varieties]. The “abhinihita” is the sharpest of all. [Softer] than that is said to be the “prāśliṣṭa”. Softer than that is the next pair of accents, i. e. “jātya” and “kṣipra”.
