As has been pointed out, internal language planning relating to a particular language is concerned with active interference with the form and internal nature of that language. The reasons for such actions, which can be directed at all levels of a language, such as lexicon, grammatical and even phonological structure, style and expression, and discourse patterns and, in written form ,orthography, are manifold and can be basically (1) restrictive and (2) creative facets.
