[…] discussion of semantics would be clearer if semantic prime were reserved exclusively for category distinctions of potentially universal application (like the SNSD, the PNPD, etc.) and if what are sometimes referred to as “semantic primes” were referred to as primitive concepts. However, note that primitive concepts are not necessarily constructed out of semantic primes.
